Today the final charts for the year were released by sales tracker NPD.
Unsurprisingly Modern Warfare 3 topped the list for both US and UK. Black Ops even made the top ten, impressively hitting the sixth place despite being released 2010.
Other big hitters included Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and NFL 12.
Just Dance 2 and 3 both were big sellers too, showing just how big the casual market is becoming.
So what do you think of the chart, does it reflect the best games of 2011 or a decline in traditional gaming tastes?
