It’s been too long since we have seen Abe on consoles. Thankfully he’s alive and kicking with his newest game, Abe’s Oddysee: New ‘n’ Tasty! The game is a remake of the original PS1 game, Abe’s Odyssey.

New ‘n’ Tasty! will have HD graphics that have been completely reworked for modern consoles. Special lighting effects, rendering techniques and new textures makes sure that the game will be up to scratch.

It’s not only the graphics that have been upgraded either. The game has had slight rebalancing, although “80-90 per cent the same as in the original,” according to Just Add Water’s Stewart Gilray.

Abe’s Oddysee: New ‘n’ Tasty! will be released on PS3, PS Vita, PC and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade in autumn 2013.
