The rhythm game Audiosurf is getting a sequel and players can now sign up to join the closed beta.
Delivering a new way for players to experience their music library, the original Audiosurf was well received when it was first released via Steam in 2008. The new title “Audiosurf Air” is being developed by the game’s original creator, Dylan Fitterer, on the Unity engine and is planned for a 2012 release. For those wanting to join the closed Beta, email addresses can be submitted to sign up on the Audiosurf Air .
Besides a vibrant new look, the screenshots don’t show reveal much in how the “Air” aspect will alter gameplay or how the new instalment will deliver on something new, but we can look forward to hear more from this title in the near future.
