Several memebers of the team responsible for Bayonetta have given their own input on the rumoured news that a sequel has been canned.

Unfortunately this has done little to help the matter, only confusing people more. Game Director, Hideki Kamiya suggested that fans should not be worried, asking them to look at “next week’s game magazines”. Kamiya has previously tweeted messages suggesting a Bayonetta sequel, all of which have not come to fruition.

Atsushi Inaba only helped to fuel the fire by tweeting the following message:  ”We’ve heard all the rumors on the net. What do you guys think? Too bad it got cancelled, huh?”

Inaba also tweeted the image above, which looks like a bad 7 year-old’s MS Paint fan art that places our heroine infront on Vanquish’s Robert Burns.

Kamiya then retweeted the ‘Bayonetta 2′ image later in the day and said: ”Game that hasn’t been announced cannot be canceled, so I know Bayo 2 is safe in your mind-heart and around PG office”.

So in conclusion, we have no clue what the hell is going on here.
