Black Ops 2 release date and details confirmed

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been officially announced by Activison, with the release date of November 13th confirmed. This news comes from the Black Ops 2 website which went live today.

The site’s pre-order page says:

“Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare.”

This update comes alongside a couple of screenshots (see below) that confirms those quadrocopter images were legitimate.

    Really can’t wait for this to come out. Looks so much better than Black Ops 1 and i thought that was really good. Really great idea to move away from the world war / modern warfare theme with Call of Duty always seems to stick to as well.
