Chrono Trigger gets iOS release

Chrono-Trigger-a-cult-classic

Many wont even know what Chrono Trigger is, but this game is the grandaddy of all RPGs.  Originally developed by Square (now known as Square Enix) Chrono Trigger was made by what is now known as the “Dream Team”; Hironobu Sakaguchi the creator of Final Fantasy, Yuji Horii creator of Dragon Quest, Akira Toriyama a lead artist on the Dragon Ball series and Nobuo Uematsu, the composer famous for his work on the Final Fantasy series were all involved on this project.

There is no specific date or pricing for the RPG that was first released for the SNES back in 1995.  Square Enix have promised that Chrono Trigger will be released for iOS before the end of the year and said that the game will remain the same, with only small changes to make it work on iOS devices.

If you can’t wait that long you could always pick up a copy on PSN or the Wii’s Virtual Console .
