The new issue of PC Gamer UK magazine has revealed that Company of Heroes “one of the highest scoring RTS of all time is marching unstoppably onward” to receive a sequel.
It appears the new CoH2 will be taking players back to WWII after Germany’s invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, leading up to the issue of Order No. 227 by Joseph Stalin. The order which was given in an attempt to stop Hitler’s forces from progressing, became famous for its line “Not a step back!” which appears to play a part in the upcoming strategy game.
Seeing that THQ is still alive and kicking is a welcome surprise considering the companies downfall was predicted a while back. We can expect to hear further updates in the coming days.
