Deadlight has just had its first gameplay trailer released. The footage shows a very stylised game which makes good use of light and shadow to create a rather creepy looking game. We really like the desolate areas and the sense of emptyness and danger the trailer gives off. Hopefully the game works like this the whole way through.

The game also seems to be telling an adult story and that does not mean lots of swearing and sex scenes. ‘Tequila Works is born from deep traditions, and is created with sufficient time to let it reach its perfect maturity,’ the description says on the developers page.

Deadlight was announced back in January and is in development by Tequila Works. The game is exclusive to XBLA and will be released this year.
