Apple have announced that Diablo III will be one of the first applications to benefit from the retina display on the Next-Generation Macbook Pro.
Announced at the World Wide Developer’s Conference 2012, the Next-Generation Macbook Pro boasts an impressive line-up of features. The device is only 0.71 inches thin, a quarter thinner than the current Macbook Pro. Additionally it is the lightest Macbook in the series, weighing in at only 4.46 pounds.
However, the most exciting news regarding the device is the screen – boasting a 15.4 inch retina display, the Next-Generation Macbook Pro has a pixel density of 2880 x 1800, four times that found on the previous Macbook Pro.
Amongst the applications which will benefit from this increased resolution first is Blizzard’s Diablo III.
