In a further effort to get their company back on track, THQ has announced that Ron Moravek has been made their new vice president in charge of production.

Bringing over 14 years of experience to the table, Moravek was previously the VP and COO of EA Canada, but is most known for co-founding Relic Entertainment.

“Ron is an exceptional development executive with unique perspective on the industry from both a creative and business point of view,” President of THQ Jason Rubin said. “His entrepreneurial experience as well as his ability to drive dynamic teams is a great fit for our strategic objectives. Additionally, Ron’s experience building high-quality products will help us continue to deliver great games and build upon our foundation to innovate digitally in the future.”

THQ has been going through some rough times and we hope that their plan to restructure works out for them. They do, after all, have the right games to show for themselves.
