Final Fantasy VII will be coming back to the PC via the Square Enix store.

The new version of the game will be released “soon” with English, French, German and Spanish languages. There is some new content coming to the RPG as well.

Players will now be able to utilise the “Character Booster”. This will allow you to beef up your stats and money as much as you like. Which is cheating really, shame on you Square Enix.

“With the Character Booster you can increase your HP, MP and Gil levels to their maximum, all with the simple click of a button, leaving you to enjoy your adventure,” said the site.

Final Fantasy VII’s  new PC release will have a cloud saving system (not to be confused with the main character). This means that you will never lose your save files as they will be stored online.

Minimum specs for the new version are:

  • Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64-bit)
  • 2GHz Processor or faster
  • 1GB RAM
  • DirectX 9-compatible graphic card

Character boosting is great as an option, the same as story mode in ME3. just because its there doesn’t mean you have to cheat ;-)
