The British Academy Video Game Awards will be taking place this Friday at 7pm in London. These awards annually celebrate the best innovations in video games across various categories, ranging from Best Game to Artistic Achievement. Nominees this year include Portal 2, Batman: Arkham City, The Nightjar, LA Noire, Dark Souls, Little Big Planet 2 and many more across all categories. Portal 2 is nominated for 5 awards and Batman: Arkham City is nominated for 8.

The award ceremony will be hosted by Irish comic Dara O’Briain and combined with the nominations, this year’s awards are promising to be very exciting.
