Gearbox have released the first in a series of ‘making of’ videos for their new FPS Aliens: Colonial Marines. The first episode to be released is called Authentic Aliens and focuses on how the development teams have worked to ensure the game is true to the film franchise.

Last month one gamer was left annoyed after finding out that female soldiers will not be used in multiplayer modes for Colonial Marines, spurring her to start a petition.

Gamers will be able to get their hands on  Aliens: Colonial Marines when it is released on February 12th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Wii U release has been promised “at a later time”.
