Halo’s UNSC logo used in BBC News Report

BBC News has come under fire recently, after inserting a logo for Halo’s UNSC in a  report about the ongoing conflict in Syria.

The logo appeared beside Amnesty International’s, as Sophie Raworth spoke about the United Nation’s role within the situation in Syria.

This mistake had occurred due to, what we imagine to be, a mixup with the abbreviations. During the news piece, the focus is directed towards the United Nations Security council, probably leading to a Google search with the term “UNSC”, which stands for the fictitious UNSC (United Nations Space Command) in the Halo universe.

The incident may have occurred on BBC1′s One O’Clock News but, due to the internet, no mistake is ever forgotten and the video has since gone online. For your viewing pleasure we have added it below.
