Hideki Kamiya, the man behind games such as Resident Evil, Okami and Devil May Cry, has revealed that he would preferably like to work on a Viewtiful Joe sequel. Despite working on some massive titles Kamiya favours his work on the pint-sized hero for Clover Studios.
Viewtiful Joe was released for the Gamecube in 2003. Despite having rave reviews the game did not sell well and after a sequel and some spin-offs we never saw our rocket dodging superhero again.
Kamiya also mentioned a Bayonetta sequel saying that he often meets up with members from the game’s development team and throws around ideas over a few drinks.
