Kadakowa have released three new clips from their newest game, Lollipop Chainsaw.

The short clips show female hero Juliet Starling taking down the walking dead with her trusty chainsaw, in typical Grasshopper style the game cannot simply leave it at this. Zombies explode into the game’s signature love hearts, rainbows and other girly colours. It is an odd mix, but a nice change from the gore-overkill we get on most games nowadays.

Revealing some new abilities, the footage also shows how Juliet can use her arsenal to enter new areas by chainsawing through trees and shooting big rocks.

Together with las weeks reveal of Juliet’s sisters, who will be playing key roles in the game, it seems like Grasshopper might still be holding a few surprises up their sleeves. Lollipop Chainsaw is planned for a June 12 release in North America on the Xbox360 and Playstation 3.
