Bioware have released a new trailer for Mass Effect 3 showing off its Kinect capabilities and in the process confirmed a demo release date of February the 14th. Best tell the Mrs that Valentines is cancelled then.

The video highlights the Kinect’s capabilities in Mass Effect 3 and things seem to be shaping up nicely. You can use voice commands to give companions tactical instructions, change weapons and even use powers. This will help to keep the action flowing instead of stopping it to make tactical changes. You can even use the Kinect to choose dialogue wheels.

Mass Effect 3 is out on the 6th of March 2012.
