Konami have released the latest trailer for Platinum Games’ Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The video is exactly what you would expect from a Metal Gear game with lots of grizzly serious talk about war, genetics and the economy. Then Platinum Games’ input kicks in, about half way through, and Raiden goes all badass ninja on us, slicing his way through pretty much everything possible and sending blood spewing in all directions.

Mixing things up a little, we additionally get a brief look at some platforming elements of the game with Raiden leaping up the side of a building and climbing a broken bridge.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is currently down for an early 2013 release.

With E3 only days away, we’ve already had Pro Evollution Soccer 2013 and Dishonored release some impressive looking E3 gameplay trailers too.
