Microsoft have been caught registering eleven different website names that mention “Halo Infinity“.

The domain names include the following names: HaloInfinity.org, HaloInfinity.co.uk, HaloInfinity.mobi, HaloInfinity.de, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.net, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.org, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.co.uk, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.mobi and HaloInfinityMultiplayer.de.

Interestingly the domains SpartanOps.org, SpartanOps.net, and MorethanJustamap.com were also registered earlier this week.

Although Microsoft have not directly registered these sights, MarkMonitor has. This  internet brand protection company has previously worked with Microsoft.

It could be anything from a new game to a map pack. The only clue that there is already a map called Infinity in Halo: Combat Evolved. Any DLC for Halo Reach or Combat Evolved would be arriving at a random time, but it is feasible.

We do not know what Halo Infinity is, but with eleven domain names being trademarked we would be surprised if it was just something small.
