SEGA have revealed the Miss Yakuza winners at Tokyo Joyopolis. Each winner came up and introduced themselves during the press conference.

The five lucky winners entered the Miss Yakuza contest where they were whittled down from thousands of entries to a final group. These fifteen girls were selected from five different cities around the country that will appear as locations in Yakuza 5. Those that were in the final group of fifteen then had to battle for fan votes by making videos about their city and looking as cute/hot as humanly possible.

The girls will promote Yakuza 5 in commercials and other press events. They will also be put into the game as characters and unlike previous entries to the series, they will not only play hostesses.

Personally we were hoping that pornstar Sakura Kiryu would have got through to the final stages. It would have made for some interesting game material.
