Dark Souls: Prepare To Die edition will let users travel back to the past in particular areas of the original Dark Souls to access new content that has been added. While the game is set in the same world, the new expansion will take place “several hundred years” before the events of Dark Souls according to producer Daisuke Uchi.
Speaking to CVG Uchi said:
“The new content is interlinked within the game itself. There will be certain things you’ll have to do in certain orders so that you can access the points where you can travel back in time. We’ll try to give as much indication within the game itself, but there will be a lot of going back and forth.”
Namco Bandai have also released their E3 trailer for Dark Souls: Prepare To Die. It looks like somehow things have got even harder with some amazing looking bosses destroying our brave warrior.
