Today Sony announced their new Slim Model PS3. The console will be 20% smaller and 25 per cent lighter than their previous PS3 Slim, and will come in two different versions by the end of the year.

HMV have already released their prices for the console, selling the ‘light’ variation of the console for £185. This version of the PS3 is meant for casual users and has 12gb of flash memory. It will be made available from October 12th.

In contrast to the aforementioned build, the more expensive version of the PS3 Slim Console comes with half a terrabyte’s worth of space and will be sold for £249.99 at HMV from September 28th.
