Nintendo have announced that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be arriving on the 3DS this year.
The latest Mario title will be a 2D affair which looks very similar to the last game in the series. At Nintendo’s E3 Conference we were told that the game “it’s all about the gold”, with a rather odd nod towards the 2012 Olympics.
The game is planned to launch on August 19.
