An update on , a game developer known for his work on Dungeon Siege 3 and other Obsidian titles, has brought to light that regardless of recent developments Obsidian is down but not out.

Looking at Taylor’s page shows that he had previously been working as the Lead System Designer on a project for three months until the layoffs hit. The latest listing starting from this months shows that he has now been hired as the Project Director for an “unannounced title”. While this might as well simply be a shift due to the lack of staff, the new position Taylor has taken might just be the new project Obsidian has started to give them the boost they need.
