Children’s book illustrator Jed Henry has today released his in a series of samurai reimaginations of classic video game characters.

Sporting a Japanese woodblock style, Jed has started his collection of pictures on his today with a revamped Samus fighting off a horde of Metroids.

Henry is a “fairly new” artist who has books such as Penguin Putnam, Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins and “many others”. Be sure to check back at his blog, as he plans to release more game characters regularly.
