Digital Extremes has confirmed on its blog that The Darkness 2 will have a demo released next week.

Xbox Live Gold members will get the demo first on the 17th of this month. PS3, Steam and Xbox Live Silver members in the US will have to wait until the 24th to download it. Those outside the US will have to wait and extra day to try out Jackie’s new adventure.

We always thought that The Darkness didn’t get the attention it deserved. The supernatural FPS brought something new to the table in a genre that getting stale with the million COD wannabees.

The Darkness 2 will be released on February the 10th and we can’t wait!
