Those Japanse people sure are crazy (in a good way). Only Square Enix could decide their next game for the 3DS will be a rhythm based game.
Theatrhythm works in a similiar vein to Elite Beat Agents, where users must tap and drag their stylus in time to onscreen prompts and music.
The game uses music pieces from accross the Final Fantasy series and why not, it probably has the best soundtrack of any game series.
