Unreal 4 Engine to be unveiled at GDC

The new Unreal Engine 4 has been the source of many rumours recently. It appears that Epic will be unveiling their next generation engine at this years Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

The developers plan to show a preview of their next gen technology to select “licensees, partners and prospective customers” during the exhibition as they “[lead] they way in next-gen”.

Epic will have a strong presence at GDC 2012 holding presentations throughout the conference. Online registration has ended today so if you’re planning to attend the event you’ll have to buy your tickets on location.

The future generations of video games are getting closer by the day, as we can only look forward to our first glance of the new technologies that await us.
