An email from a major Japanese game store may have revealed the release date for the upcoming Nintendo console.
According to an email received by video game retailer Media Land, WiiUDaily claims that the Wii U’s launch date is set for Sunday November 18 this year in North America and one week later in Japan. The Wii was originally launched on November 19 in 2006 which also was a Sunday. No details were given on when the console would be coming to Europe.
Considering Nintendo previously announced that the public would be able to get their hands on Nintendo’s next genii console between E3 and the end of 2012, this rumour seems plausible. Be sure to check back for future updates.
