According to a ‘Microsoft source’ the next Xbox dubbed the, Xbox 720, will be released in 2013.

The report comes from CNET who also wrote that Don Coyer, who have worked on the design of the Xbox brand since initial concept, will be replaced by Emma Williams, who was a big force behind the new Xbox Dashboard launch.

Speaking about future consoles in August, European Xbox honcho, Chris Lewis, said:

“We think we’re a little over halfway with the life cycle of the console, but that’s not to say there won’t be an overlap. I’m not going to announce specifically or talk about timing. But you could imagine there could be overlap, it depends. We’re not being specific about the next generation at this stage.”
