The Yakuza series will always bring fond memories flooding back to us, whether it is , in a club or . Variety is the spice of life and the Yakuza games are crammed full of it.

So we are happy to hear the news that both Yakuza 1 and 2 are getting an HD re-release.  The games will get updated visuals, and some small improvements too. Players will have food and drink that they have tried ticked off their list and will also be able to sort their inventory via phone boxes. Probably the best of all the additions is that loading times will be significantly lowered.

Yakuza 1 and 2′s HD re-release is currently only scheduled for Japan. We hope that NA and US regions manage to get the game at some point.
