It has been a long while since we’ve seen anything on Team Ico’s The Last Guardian. Once again a Sony representative has come out to explain that the game still exists after its absence at this year’s TGS was noted.

Speaking to Kotaku, an anonymous Sony dev said: “I give you my word that it exists. We are working on it.”

According to the anonymous dev, The Last Guardian was announced too early and due to the fact that it is a ”very ambitious project”, development time has been pretty long. He continued to state that Sony have now become reluctant to discuss new games so far from their launch date.

At the rate The Last Guardian’s going at, we will be lucky to see it this gen.
