Yesterday, the developers behind Black Mesa Source announced that they would release “some exciting new media” if they were to reach 20,000 likes on their . Surprisingly enough a few images were posted before the goal was even reached, preparing fans for an upcoming release of the highly anticipated mod.

Update: Minutes ago the images have gone live again.

Although the images have been taken down already, a screenshot alongside the actual screencraps provide us with a small glimpse of what we can expect, when the fan page actually reaches its 20k mark.

A message alongside the gallery tells fans that the pictures are “only the beginning” as they are kicking off a social media campaign towards their “first release”.

Seeing how Black Mesa Source has been due for quite some time now, we’re glad to see that the developers are showing some signs of life again.
