It has been a rather long time since we have had any news on Crytek’s motion controlled game Ryse. Many started to fear that the Kinect exclusive Roman brawler was dead, but Crytek’s GM of games, Nick Button-Brown put fears to rest saying:
“Yeah, absolutely [it's alive],” Button-Brown told CVG in an interview. “It’s doing really well and we’re really, really happy with where it’s going.
“It’s our annual thing; we show a trailer for Ryse at E3,” he said. “It’s going really, really well. The team actually delivered a milestone yesterday, which was quite nice. It’s kind of good to see that.
“We’re really happy with it and at some stage will be showing and giving more information about it. Unfortunately we’re kind of constrained by our publisher.”
Our Kinect is getting a bit dusty and Microsoft really need to start delivering on that promise of quality games for us players that don’t want to play Zumba Fitness 11 or Just Dance 16.
