Kalypso Media is working with their Munich based studio, Realmforge Studios, to create a new IP called Dark, featuring vampires, stealth gameplay and RPG elements.

Players take control of a bloodsucker named Eric Bane, who wakes up in a club one night, without any recollection of who he is or what has happened. Much can’t be said about the title besides its “mysterious” setup that leaves Bane attempting to unravel what is actually going on.

Although the contents of the game are still unclear, there has been a series of screenshots that have been released, giving us a look at the dark, cel-shaded art style it brings forward, much like The Darkness II.

Dark is planned for an early 2013 release for PC and consoles, so we can expect to hear more about it during this year’s E3 and GamesCOM.
