Phony Steam Mail asks for your Login details

first time inet kid

A recent Email has been going around asking Steam users to enter their logging details in order “help maintain the security” of your account.

The message prompts users to follow a link upon which they are directed to a mock up Steam login page, where the users account credentials are supposed to help “maintain the security” of their account.

However, although a steam community link may appear to be legitimate once you ream that you’ve been taken to “uptownbusinesspartners.org” you may want to hold back from entering your password.

Be sure to report this message to steam if you do receive it so that further attempts to steal user information can be prevented. Remember, only you can stop cheesy attempts to steal your identity… or something.
