A new game in the Phoenix Wright series has been announced by Capcom. There are no details on the release, oddly enough, there is no platform announced either. So this could even be a release for the Wii U (in theory).

Previous releases in the series – Phoenix Wright, Justice for All, Trials and Tribulation – are all due to get a brush up with improved graphics. The games will then be released for the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with Android versions to follow.

If you’ve already purchased Phoenix Wright for your iOS device don’t worry, you’ll be able to transfer your save to the newest version of the game but whether you’ll get the updated version for free is unclear.

Phoenix Wright has players control a young lawyer solving several cases with investigation and questioning in court cases.
