James Bond 007 Legends has been announced for Xbox 360 and PS3. The super-smooth spy’s new game celebrate the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series.

Eurocom, who previously worked on Goldeneye 007/ Reloaded  will develop James Bond 007 Legends which will feature levels based upon six classic Bond films. Only the new film, Skyfall, was mentioned, but we would be shocked if Dr No, Moonraker, The Man With the Golden Gun, Goldfinger or Goldeneye are not included.

The game will have Kinect support when it is released, but how far this will go and what you will be able to do has yet to be confirmed.

“To honour 50 years of the world’s top secret agent, 007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet,” said Activision Publishing’s EVP David Oxford.

“Creating a videogame storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions our developer Eurocom has pulled it off.”

Legends will also see the “return of fan-favorite single-player Mi6 Ops Missions” similar to those in Reloaded. Agents will be able to play as a Bond hero or villain and “reliving the missions through their eyes, as well as 007′s.”

The game has already had online and splitscreen multiplayer confirmed. Whether it will come close to n64′s Goldeneye is another thing altogether.
