Nintendo America has announced that people who pre-order Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS, “at select retailers”, will receive a free copy of the Kid Icarus for the NES.

The game has even been given a 3D update and will be available to those who don’t pre-order the game at a price which is yet to be announced.

Customers will receive their free game using a special code given to them when purchasing Kid Icarus: Uprising according to Nintendo.

There’s still no word on whether Europe will see a similar deal but we’ll bring you news as soon as we have it.
