A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance on the Nintendo 3DS has emerged in time for E3 next week to show off the games beautiful cinematic cutscenes with in-game footage.

The trailer shows off some of the opening cutscene for the new handheld title, as well as series regulars and the traditional Disney characters. Several new additions have managed to squeeze into the mix, including Tron Legacy‘s Sam Flynn.

Alongside the series of both pre-rendered and in-game cinematics, are examples of the game’s fast-paced combat and colourful environments. While the trailer below looks the part, you will have to get hands-on with the game to get the full 3D experience!

Lucky Japanese gamers have had access to the game since March, but for the rest of us there is still a bit of a wait on our hands. The game is set for release on July 20 in the EU, and July 31 in North America.
