OnLive hasn’t exactly taken the gaming world by storm, but it is slowly getting there. Today they  announced that LA Noire will be released on their system and will be compatible with iOS and Android devices. This means that you can play LA Noire on your portable device if you have a good enough inernet signal.

OnLive works by sending data through servers instead of relying on physical software or downloads. This also means that the device being used does not need that much processing power, as the internet connection and servers sending the data are more important.

If you’ve not played LA Noire now might be the time to start. The game was one of the most original of the year putting you in the boots of Cole Phelps a young detective returning from the war.

OnLive will be available for iOS and Android devices later today.
