It seems that Microsoft’s next console could be launching a little sooner than first anticipated. Paul Brian Thurrott (technology reporter and the news editor for Windows IT Pro Magazine) recently revealed details about ‘Project Ten,’ stating that Microsoft’s new machine will focus on integration with their other platforms and products.

Specific information about any new console was unsurprisingly scarce, but he joins a long list of analysts that predict a 2012 launch date. The official word from Microsoft was slightly more foreseeable, they do not comment on ‘rumors or speculation.’
