No Final Fantasy VII remake until it is bettered

Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada has revealed that we will get a Final Fantasy VII remake.

At the company’s annual shareholder meeting Wada was asked about the possibility of a remake of Final Fantasy VII. He replied stating that Square Enix would need to first make a better game before returning to the PS1 title.

In an odd turn of events Wada then admitted that the company were not making games that were up to the same standard as Final Fantasy VII. He then said that if a remake were to be made now, it would kill off the Final Fantasy series.

Many consider the seventh instalment to be the pinacle of the seriesThe game had an amazing story, engaging characters and an addictive battle system. Final Fantasy VII even gave you plenty of extra things to do before trying to take down the final boss, including the infamous and .

Fans of the title will still be hoping for a remake in the future. Especially with footage such as this coming online.
