A youtube user by the name of rickonami (aka ) has released an HD remix of the Start Fox intro.

Paying homage to the SNES classic, the video shows off touched up visuals of the game’s opening cinematic alongside some remastered highlights from the actual game. Giving a rundown of the main cast, Riccardo also presents a creepy doll look for McCloud and the rest of the pilots.

While the revamped footage brings forth much more than a simple carbon copy of the cutscene it tributes, it’s interesting to see how close the remake follows the original.
