Anyone that watches Channel 5′s, ‘The Gadget Show’ will have witnessed the most immersive form of gaming when it aired on Monday. Using several motion tracking devices including Kinect sensors, five HD projectors and a specially designed treadmill, they created the ultimate gaming room. The Gadget Show’s room was designed so that players could actually play Battlefield 3 as if they were there. Holding and aiming a replica gun, head tracking and movements are all picked up on using a variety of gadgets and gizmos. They even a paintball gun that shoots at you if you get shot, making this the ultimate way to play Battlefield 3.
