Counter Strike Beta Delayed
With ‘Counter Strike: Global Offensive’ being clearly visible on the horizon for release in early 2012, Valve have sparked some worry amongst fans after announcing that the beta of the game will not be being released now as was originally planned. Following a test run of the beta by professional CS players, Valve decided that there were too many crashes occurring during gameplay. Valve writer Chet Faliszek states that “there’s really no argument” for these bugs that are appearing in the game.
Faliszek also said that Valve will keep working on the beta until “the community” feel it has reached a standard where it can be revealed to 10,000 beta testers.
Battlefield 3 smashes EA sales records
It’s likely that, if you have the new FPS game, you may have encountered some problems since your purchase while trying to access the online servers of Battlefield 3. EA are on top of it, with people working round the clock to try and manage the problems that are occurring. EA have also admitted their shock at the numbers of people who bought the game.
It has been a week since Battlefield 3 was released, and the game has sold a staggering 10 million units; half of which were bought in the first few days after the release date. This now makes Battlefield 3 EA’s fastest selling game to date, which is saying something for the company which has released all of ‘The Sims’ games and created the ever-growing ‘FIFA’ phenomenon. Watch out Modern Warfare 3.
