Now I know what you are thinking, Diablo III?! What about Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3, I hear you cry! Well if there’s any game that has had me giddy with excitement for a long time, its Diablo III. There has not been a sequel for eleven years now and since its release no dungeon crawling RPG has been able to replicate its magic. The heavily customisable players hooked with its loot system and unique combat system. Since I saw the original gameplay trailer I was hooked. When the game is released early next year, as Blizzard have announced, it is certain to rock the world of PC gaming.

The trailer has been beautifully crafted and is on-par with Hollywood CGI films. While it may not have the blockbuster effect of Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3 the games gritty new look made me remember why I am so excited by this game. It opens with Deckard Cain’s niece trying to make sense of her uncle’s mysterious notes. After a while she has a vision in which the dark lord Azmodan appears, swearing that his armies will soon descend upon Sanctuary and ravish it of life.  It looks amazing, I just hope that the game hits shelves early next year and does not get delayed again!
