Forums have been set alight by the new Xbox Live update. Not by fanboys praising the new features, but rather by hundreds complaining about problems the update has created.

The new Xbox update has created an array of issues for users. Many have mentioned that they are unable to put their console online since receiving the update, others have been asked to download their profile repeatedly and a few have even claimed their console had been bricked after attempting the update.

“We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue,” Microsoft says. “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”
