Adhering to one of the more pesky (and yet relentless) trends in the industry, Bioware have announced that a Mass Effect 3 announcement is on the way!

Bioware community coordinator Tully Ackland took to earlier today to announce that an update for Mass Effect 3 would be coming tonight.

Mr Ackland said:

“Good morning! #MassEffect fans should keep an eye out for news that’ll come out later today ”

A few minutes later, Mr Ackland tweeted again, adding:

“I realise my tweet is like an announcement of an announcement… How awful of me! #Notsorry”

The Extended Cut DLC for Mass Effect 3 launched back in June and the “Earth” DLC launched a couple of weeks later in July.

Since then we have not heard much concerning the game except for rumours of larger story DLC on the way – or perhaps some further news on the Wii U version? Who knows!
