From Ashes was part of ME3 all along

A recent video uploaded by Youtube user “lljkceski” reveals that the “From Ashes” downloadable content for Mass Effect 3 may have been part of the game from the start but was merely removed as a marketing move by EA.

The idea of releasing DLC on day one of a game’s release is an idea not only fans but industry professionals seem to have a problem with, the new footage shows that the Prothean Squad member can be added with just the few simple steps given by the lljkceski:

1. Open Coalesced.bin with this http://wenchy.net/me3-coalesced-utility

2. Search for this:
MemberValidCID=22, MemberAvailablePlotLabel=IsSelectableProthean,

3. Replace with this:
MemberValidCID=, MemberAvailablePlotLabel=,

After that, Javik the Prothean is unlocked and accessible as a squad member without requiring “From Ashes”.

    And this is just another reason why I’ve been saying that Mass Effect 3 will be the last EA product I ever buy.
    when a game developer will make a game that seems promissing or interesting but published by EA, I will let them know that I will sadly not buy their product because of that.

    sorry but mass effect isn’t worth $60, so no way i would pay for DLC or the game.
    either
    A will pirate when i get a better PC
    or

    I’m “borrowing” a copy of it (with the DLC) right now. And regardless if I never play it again, I will buy it later when it is heavily discounted.

    In India ME3 costs 21$ and the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition costs only 26$. I bought DLC for 5$ xD
